Night HawksNIGHTHAWKS DC’s journal, October 9th. The streets are filthy this time of year. As soon as the Sun dips towards the south and the leaves in City Park become chameleons the streets turn red and reek with corruption and despair. One can’t walk these urban sewers without stepping over puddles of beet juice, human beet juice, dotting the pavement like paint splatter from a post-modernist’s so called art.
